Liz is a senior at Cornell studying Development Sociology. She recently returned from a leave of absence during which she volunteered for the Village Bicycle Project in Eastern and Northern Ghana for seven months. She's currently working on an evaluation of the Village Bicycle Project and the impacts of increased mobility on quality of life in rural areas. Before coming to Cornell she spent four years doing many different things including building hiking trails in the Rockies and biking across Canada and Northeastern Brazil. She also spent one year living in Mozambique and a semester studying the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal in Durban, South Africa.

Liz also works as a paralegal for Neighborhood Legal Services in Ithaca, volunteers at Recycle Ithaca's Bicycles and spends as much time playing outside as possible. She is from the happy little town of Moscow, Idaho.
