Asare Twum-Barima is a Ghanaian citizen. He is currently an MS student in the Department of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. Asare is interested in household level agricultural production and marketing issues. He holds a BS in Agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. His BS thesis analyzed patterns of adoption of improved planting materials of cassava among farmers in the Wenchi District, Ghana. Prior to enrolling at Cornell, Asare worked as a teaching/research assistant at the Department of Agricultural Economics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has also worked on the CGIAR Challenge Program on Water & Food.
