Welcome to the home page for the African Food Security and Natural Resources Management Doctoral Training Program at Cornell University.

Congratulations to all the successful Rockefeller fellows!

The Rockefeller Foundation has approved funding for a program here at Cornell University to support the training of an interdisciplinary cohort of fellows from eastern and southern Africa. The training is at the Ph. D. level in topics related to integrated nutrient management for Africa, and will be incorporated within the African Food Security and Natural Resources Management Program (AFSNRM).

The Foundation has given a multi-year grant to Cornell University to develop this pilot training project through the AFSNRM program of the Cornell International Institute for Food, Agriculture and Development (CIIFAD).

From this site, you can learn about the fellows and sponsors participating in the program. You can also find out the latest news about the program, view papers, project reports and status reports, view participant contact information, and access internet sites relevant to the program.
