Todd Schmit is on his second appointment with CCPRP. He originally joined CCPRP as a research support specialist in 1996 and worked on various promotion and advertising projects, including econometric analysis of egg and dairy generic advertising. Todd received a Master's and Ph.D degrees in Agricultural Economics from Cornell.

Todd's current research activities include several methodological studies aimed at evaluating generic promotion programs at a more micro- or household-level, as well as working on ways to improve current aggregate econometric analyses of generic fluid milk and cheese advertising. Further research is investigating alternative forms of producer-funded promotion and design of new frameworks in an experimental setting.
