Student Life

Study Abroad

Life—and business—require perspective. Whether your study abroad experience leads you to a historic town in Europe or an emerging metropolis in Asia, you'll be immersed in a new culture, providing you with a new lens for viewing the world. The sights you see, the people you meet , and the places you go will offer new insight into the changing world of business and economics.

Many AEM students gain valuable international experience by spending at least one semester, typically during the spring semester of their junior year, studying or working abroad. It's also increasingly popular for AEM students to study abroad during their sophomore year or over a summer.

We invite you to explore the many options. Volunteer for an NGO in rural Cambodia, intern for a Fortune 500 company in London's bustling financial district, work for a goverment agency in the U.S. capital through the Cornell in Washington Program, or even set sail for a SEA Semester.

Cornell connects students with programs on every continent. Some of the more popular destinations include Australia, China, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, and France.

To learn more, view a new Study Abroad flyer created by AEM students and then visit the Cornell Abroad Program and the Study Abroad and CALS Exchange Programs. It's never too early to begin the study abroad application process.
